Mont Blanc
Again with two club members we went with McNabs Guiding and we were based in a lovely chalet in Argentiere near Chamonix.
We were a party of twelve and we had two guides for most of the time but a specialized guide between two for climbing Mont Blanc. We climbed the Petite Fourche at 3520 meters and from there we abseiled into Switzerland for an overnight in a mountain hut.
Next day we climbed the Aig du Tour. We stayed at the Gouter Hut and climbed Mont Blanc the next day, leaving at 2.00am to be on the summit at sunrise and we got brilliant photos at the top.
