We climbed two mountain in 2019 and after the original trip was cancelled, I hired two guides through Icelandic Mountain Guides to climb Hekla, a volcano and Hrutsfjallstinder, the second highest mountain in Iceland, only because the highest mountain at that time was out of bounds because of dangerous crevasses.
We got to the top of both. At the summit of Hekla, despite it snowing, the summit ground was warm!
Our guide for the other turned out to be Nepalese so we got on great with him and had perfect weather.
