Jebel Toubkal

Jebel Toubkal,

The highest mountain in North Africa was climbed with two club members and two other pals in 2006 in winter.

My friend Tom had hired the guide that Hamish Brown used in Morocco for years and he came highly recommended. We met in Marrakesh and from Imlil walked with mules, carrying our food and climbing gear to the high refuge.

We stayed overnight before climbing Toubkal  early next morning. I also went back with my wife with KE Adventures and climbed it again in summer conditions in 2008.
