Gran Paradiso
This is the highest mountain in the Italian Alps and we climbed it in 2013. Again we went, two of us with KE Adventures and stayed some of the time in their very posh chalet in Argentiere not far from Chamonix.
We climbed the Aiguille du Tour in the French Alps and walked over the border into Switzerland to climb the Croix du Fer on a perfect day.
We drove through the Mont Blanc tunnel and took two days to climb Gran Paradiso, staying at the Chabod mountain refuge.
